After 10 days filled with many cultural, historical and artistic activities, we successfully concluded the summer school program “I am Albanian” today.
At the closing ceremony of the activity that was held at MEPJ, with 20 students from Albanian schools in Italy, Deputy Minister Megi Fino expressed her gratitude and congratulations for the work and dedication shown by all the participants and organizers.
She emphasized the importance of preserving the Albanian language and culture in the diaspora and praised the program “Jam Shqiptar” as a successful initiative in this regard.
At the end of the ceremony, “I am Albanian” certificates were distributed to the diaspora students participating in this program.
The activity ended with a short artistic and cultural program, where the students revealed their achievements during the development of the summer school, such as recitations of various poems by Albanian authors, traditional Albanian songs and dances.
This program was made possible thanks to the close cooperation of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
The Albanian state has been and will continue to be by your side to support the preservation and cultivation of this ancient language, through the drafting, publication and distribution of common texts with Kosovo, of the Albanian language and culture, the digitization of works enabling access to you and every one of your peers anywhere in the world, as well as close cooperation with active Albanian associations with a contribution to the establishment of Albanian schools.
