From 13 to 15 October 2025, an Albanian delegation comprising representatives from the Public Procurement Agency and the Permanent Mission of Albania in Geneva participated in the 100th Session of the Committee on the Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA) of the World Trade Organization.
The visit took place within the framework of Albania’s ongoing efforts to accede to the GPA. During the session, the delegation held six bilateral meetings with various member delegations and delivered a statement reaffirming Albania’s strong commitment to joining the Agreement as soon as practicable.
Almost all delegations expressed appreciation for Albania’s market access offer and voiced their support for the country’s swift accession to the GPA. Negotiations remain ongoing.
