“A Cup of Coffee and New Shoes On,” directed and written by Gentian Koçi, is now being showcased in Greek cinemas, starting April 18.

The film, produced by Gentian Koçi, Blerina Hankollari, and co-produced by Liridon Caha from Kosovo, is a collaborative effort between Albania, Portugal, Greece, and Kosovo. It won the “Audience Award” at the 64th Thessaloniki International Film Festival (2023) and represented Albania at the 95th Academy Awards (Oscars 2023).

“A Cup of Coffee and New Shoes On” explores the story of twin brothers who face an incurable illness.

The lead roles are portrayed by renowned Portuguese actors Edgar Morais and Rafael Morais, along with Albanian actress Drita Kabashi.
