During this meeting, they engaged in discussions about the collaborative organization of the “Independence Cup” football tournament, a joint initiative involving the Albanian Embassy in Athens, the Kosovo’s Interests Office in Athens, and Apolonia FC Athens. This annual tradition in Greece fosters unity between the Albanian and Greek communities through the medium of sports.

This notable event will be held as part of “Albanian November” and the National Holidays of the Republic of Albania, bringing together professional athletes, amateurs, children, and youth from both communities.
