Franko, as his friends knew him, was a revolutionary in the world of music, bringing a unique freshness and innovation by incorporating the çifteli into rock music—an achievement that permanently changed the trajectory of the Albanian music scene. He was an artist who not only was not defeated by the dictatorship but used art as a tool for awareness and social reflection.
