The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Athens is pleased to inform Albanian students in Greece and beyond that the Bank of Albania has officially launched the annual competition:
“Governor’s Award for the Best Diploma Thesis – 2025.”

This award is open to Albanian students who graduate between October 2024 and October 2025, in Albania or abroad, with diploma theses focused on key economic issues, including:

– Monetary and international economics;
– Financial stability;
– Economic integration of Western Balkan countries into the European Union;
– The Bank of Albania’s monetary and macroprudential policies;
– Fiscal policy and its impact on the economy;
– The Albanian banking system;
– Economic behavior of individuals and businesses in Albania;
– Other topics of economic relevance.

Award Categories:

1. First prize ALL 250.000
2. Second prize ALL 200.000
3. Third prize ALL 150.000

The winners will be selected by a dedicated scientific committee established by the Bank of Albania.
