The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece announces with deep sorrow the passing of Mr. Fatos Nano, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, on 31 October 2025.

In honor of his distinguished contribution to the country’s political and institutional life, 02 November 2025 has been declared a National Day of Mourning by the Government of Albania.

In accordance with this decision, the Embassy will open a Book of Condolences at its premises (Ar. Vekiarel 7, Filothei) on:

– 03 November 2025
– 04 November 2025
