The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Greece, Mrs. Luela Hajdaraga, participated in a meeting hosted by the Embassy of Austria in Athens within the framework of the “Friends of the Western Balkans” initiative. The meeting was attended by Greece’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Alexandra Papadopoulou, and diplomatic representatives of the participating countries.

The meeting was held on the occasion of the visit to Athens of Ambassador Elisabeth Kornfeind, Director General for Europe and Economy at the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs.
In her remarks, Ambassador Hajdaraga highlighted Albania’s progress in the European integration process and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to pursuing reforms and achieving the objectives related to its accession to the European Union.

Discussions focused on developments in the Western Balkans and the region’s European perspective, underscoring the importance of dialogue and cooperation among partners in advancing the European integration process.
