The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Athens informs the public that passports and national ID cards for applications submitted on 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 September 2026 have arrived and are now available for collection.

Biometric documents may be collected as follows:

• In person at the Embassy during official opening hours:

  Monday to Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

• By post or courier, delivered to your residential address in accordance with the declaration signed at the Consular Section at the time of application.

REMINDER: National ID cards delivered by post are not electronically activated and therefore cannot be used for banking services in Albania.

IMPORTANT: Biometric documents must be collected within one year of the date of application. Documents not collected within this period will be deemed refused.
