The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Greece, Mrs. Luela Hajdaraga, held a meeting with the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece, Ms Sofia Zacharaki, to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of education.

The discussions focused on expanding educational cooperation, with particular emphasis on promoting the teaching of the Albanian language in Greek schools, facilitating procedures for the recognition of Albanian academic qualifications, and enhancing opportunities for scholarships and academic exchanges between the two countries.

The meeting also addressed the importance of strengthening institutional ties between Albanian and Greek educational institutions and universities, as well as promoting joint initiatives and activities involving young people.

Both sides highlighted the role of education and youth exchanges in fostering mutual understanding, strengthening people-to-people ties, and further advancing the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Albania and Greece.
