The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Athens informs the public that biometric documents for which applications were submitted on November 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th, 2025, have been issued and are now ready for collection.

Biometric documents may be collected in one of the following ways:

– In person at the Embassy during official working hours:
Monday to Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

– By mail or courier to the registered residential address, as indicated in the declaration signed during the application process at the Consular Office.

REMINDER: ID cards delivered by mail are not electronically activated and therefore cannot be used for banking services in Albania.

IMPORTANT: Biometric documents must be collected within one year from the date of application. After this period, they will be considered invalid and will be rejected.
