As part of the “Albanian November” activities and in honor of Albanian Alphabet Day, the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece organized a festive ceremony dedicated to children, marking the conclusion of the children’s drawing competition “Albania in My Dreams.”
This event brought together children, parents, and Albanian language teachers, creating an inspiring and festive atmosphere. The children’s artworks reflected their dreams and love for Albania, while the Embassy resonated with the emotions of recitations and the pride of the participants.
Ambassador Luela Hajdaraga welcomed the attendees, congratulated the children for their creativity and commitment, and emphasized the importance of preserving the Albanian language and culture as a powerful bridge connecting generations and carrying a valuable heritage of our national identity. She highlighted that the Albanian alphabet is the foundation of our culture and history, and children are the heirs who will preserve and pass on this precious legacy to the future.
The event included poetic recitations dedicated to the mother tongue and homeland, the awarding of prizes to the winners, recognitions for all participants, and special gifts for all children, making the day even more joyful.
Such activities not only encourage children’s talent and creativity but also strengthen their sense of belonging and connection to their roots, keeping the values of our heritage and national identity alive.
See you at the next edition!
