Today in Tirana, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana (CCIT) and the Athens Chamber of Commerce of Professionals (ACT). The MoU was signed by the Vice President of CCIT, Mr. Loretan Prespa, and the President of ACT, Mr. Ioannis Hatzitheodosiou, marking an important step toward expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.

The ACT delegation is in Tirana as part of the Tirana Economic Forum, organized by the Delphi Economic Forum in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece. The Greek delegation also included the Chair of the Greek-Albanian Professional Commission of the Chamber, Mr. Kristaq Konduri, adding significant value to the discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation.

The MoU was signed following a bilateral meeting between the delegations at CCIT, where concrete opportunities for deepening collaboration and developing new partnerships were discussed.

The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece, as a steady partner and active promoter of initiatives strengthening economic ties between the two countries, was represented at the event by the Economic and Trade Officer, Ms. Joana Zhonga. The Embassy’s participation underscores its ongoing commitment to supporting and facilitating cooperation between the Albanian and Greek business communities.
This MoU aims to promote trade exchanges, support small and medium-sized enterprises, and create new opportunities for business partnerships.
