Albanian Film Nights in Athens
For the third consecutive year, on November 11 and 14, two emotionally rich evenings dedicated to Albanian cinema were successfully held at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in Athens.
In collaboration with the Central State Film Archive, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy two restored masterpieces, “Gjeneral Gramafoni” and “Tomka dhe Shokët e Tij”. These films were warmly embraced by the Albanian community and international guests, demonstrating their love and appreciation for Albanian culture and cinema .
This event was a wonderful opportunity to explore and share Albania’s rich cultural and artistic heritage, inspiring pride and passion across generations.
The event was attended by:
- The Head of the Office of Kosovo Interests in Greece, Mr. Fitim Gllareva;
- The Director of the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, Ms. Metaxia Tsertsavi;
- Children, parents, teachers, actors, writers, representatives of the Albanian community, international friends, and cinema enthusiasts.
A special thank you to the Central State Film Archive and the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation for their excellent collaboration, as well as to everyone who shared this unforgettable experience with us!
