On the occasion of the official visit to Athens by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Igli Hasani, the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece hosted a festive reception, bringing together members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of Greek institutions, the media, academia, business leaders, and the Albanian community in Greece.

Minister Hasani and the Ambassador of Albania to Greece, Mrs. Luela Hajdaraga, addressed the audience, emphasizing the strategic importance of Albania–Greece relations and their shared commitment to dialogue, cooperation, peace, and investing in people. They highlighted Albania’s progress on its path toward EU membership and conveyed deep appreciation to Greece and international partners for their continued support.

In his message to the Albanian community in Greece, Minister Hasani expressed his heartfelt gratitude for their enduring contribution and their role as a living, irreplaceable bridge between the two nations. He reaffirmed the Albanian Government’s strong commitment to the diaspora—through improved consular services, support for education and culture, and inclusive policies that value the diaspora’s role in national development. “Whenever you decide to return, Albania will be there—with an open heart. Thank you for all that you represent. Albania is proud of you,” Minister Hasani emphasized.
