The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece, in collaboration with the Association of Reserve Military Officers – Greece Branch, chaired by Mr. Aqif Bozhiqi, organized a conference at its premises titled “The Role and Contribution of Albania in the Victory Over Fascism in World War II.”
This event was honored by the presence of the Head of the Office of Kosovo Interests – Kosovo in Greece, Mr. Fitim Gllareva, members of the association, and esteemed guests.
In her speech, the Ambassador of Albania to Greece, Ms. Luela Hajdaraga, emphasized the resilience and sacrifices of Albanians, describing this period as a chapter of pride in our national history. Additionally, Ambassador Hajdaraga expressed deep gratitude and thanked the Association of Reserve Military Officers – Greece Branch for their valuable role and contribution in supporting and empowering those who have served with dedication and sacrifice in the armed forces.
The conference was enriched with speeches by First Captain and President of the Association of Reserve Military Officers – Greece Branch, Mr. Aqif Bozhiqi, Military Academic Colonel Mr. Andrea Nito, Former Reserve Officer Mr. Kosta Kallonjeri, and Military Attaché Colonel Mr. Artan Bufi.
In his address, Colonel Artan Bufi highlighted, among other things, that:
“Albania, as a NATO member, has continuously contributed to maintaining international security and peace, stabilizing the Balkan region, and supporting the Alliance’s global missions. Albania’s commitment is crucial for further strengthening NATO’s cohesion and for assisting its partners and allies in the field of security and defense.”
The event was also greeted by actor Festim Zaçe, who recited the poem “Mother Albania” by Dritëro Agolli, as well as by the artistic groups “Lot Kurbeti” and “Kreshtat e Shqipërisë.”
