The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Greece, Ms. Luela Hajdaraga, attended the opening ceremony of Food Expo 2025 in Athens, an event that annually brings together public and private figures, both Greek and international, from the primary sector of the economy.
At Food Expo 2025, the leading trade fair for food and beverages in Southeastern Europe, more than 50,000 exceptional products from around the world were showcased, with the participation of over 1,300 exhibitors globally.
Albania was dignifiedly represented at this prestigious fair through its stand by the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) and six Albanian food and beverage production companies, which presented their “Made in Albania” products.
Additionally, 30 professional visitors (Hosted Buyers) from Albania and 45 from Kosovo, representing companies operating in the food industry—including some of the largest supermarket and distribution networks—had the opportunity to participate in the fair, facilitated by the Albanian representative of the fair for the Balkan market, Rumming Idea.
This event is an excellent opportunity to promote the potential of Albania’s food industry and strengthen economic and trade ties with international partners.
