The 10th edition of the Delphi Economic Forum was held in Delphi, bringing together over 1,000 distinguished personalities from the fields of politics, diplomacy, business, and civil society, representing 50 countries from around the world. The Forum featured more than 200 discussions focused on the exchange of ideas regarding geopolitical and economic shifts, European cohesion, the energy transition, innovation, and technology, within a global reality that is reshaping international balances.
Albania was represented at the Forum by Mr. Endrit Yzeiraj, Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, who participated as a panelist in the discussion titled “Towards EU Enlargement and Its Impact on the Neighborhood.”
In his remarks, Deputy Minister Yzeiraj underlined Albania’s unwavering commitment to European Union membership and the strategic importance of accelerating this process—not only for the Western Balkan countries, but also for the EU itself. He emphasized that European integration is more than a political aspiration; it represents a real opportunity for economic development, strengthening legal standards, and improving the quality of life for citizens. He also highlighted Albania’s ongoing efforts to promote regional integration through the removal of trade barriers and deeper alignment with EU structures.
