On October 19, 2025, the first meeting of the Greek-Albanian Commission of Professionals took place at the Chamber of Commerce of Professionals in Athens (Ε.Ε.Α.). The Commission represents over 3,500 Albanian professionals, making it the largest organized group of foreign professionals within the Chamber.

Mr. Ioannis Hatzitheodosiou, President of Ε.Ε.Α., highlighted the contribution of the Albanian community to the Greek economy and emphasized the importance of professional inclusion and collaboration, under the motto: “Economy knows no borders.”

Mr. Kristaq Konduri, Chairman of the Commission, outlined priorities for the next phase, including:

– national networking,
– information sharing through Chamber bulletins,
– training for small and medium-sized enterprises,
– strengthening cooperation with professional actors in Albania.

Ms. Pavlina Katiaj, newly elected member of the Ε.Ε.Α. Board of Directors, presented 42 dedicated services offered by the Chamber to its members, emphasizing practical support and opportunities for the further development of Albanian businesses in Greece.

The meeting was also addressed by Ms. Joana Zhonga, Economic Diplomat at the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Athens, who recognized the Commission as an important step toward institutionalizing the role of Albanian professionals in the Greek market and strengthening economic ties between the two countries.

The Greek-Albanian Commission of Professionals is emerging as a dynamic platform for professional and inter-institutional cooperation, reflecting the integration, ethics, and entrepreneurial spirit of the Albanian diaspora in Greece.
