On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Hungary, Mr. Ilirian Kuka, held a meeting with representatives of CEPOL (European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training). Ambassador Kuka welcomed to the embassy Mr. Gabor Kemeny, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Unit, and Mr. Gheorghe Despa, Project Manager of the Western Balkans Pact against Crime and Terrorism. The meeting, which was mainly informative on the functioning and activity of the agency in question and especially the Western Balkans Project, aimed to find ways to intensify CEPOL’s activity in Albania in order to increase security and serve the process of integration of our country into the EU.
