Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Jakarta, Mr. Nikson Ballço, held a meeting, at the invitation of the Directorate for Europe II of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, with representatives of PT Kimia Farma Tbk and PT Sinkona Indonesia Lestari (SIL), two Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), to discuss opportunities for cooperation between Albania and Indonesia in the pharmaceutical sector.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on the pharmaceutical sectors of both countries and explore potential opportunities for Indonesian companies to further develop their presence and business activities in the Albanian market.

Discussions also covered the companies’ areas of expertise, the Albanian market and its potential, as well as opportunities for business-to-business contacts, market exploration, and further exchange of information among relevant stakeholders.

The meeting forms part of the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to identify concrete opportunities for economic and business cooperation between Albania and Indonesia.
