The student and teacher representatives from Zosimea Experimental Public High School paid a very pleasant visit to the Consulate as they prepare for their first trip to the Gjirokastra Region.
Their enthusiasm and eagerness to connect with their peers in Albania were truly evident. They shared that, while past school trips have taken them to destinations like Italy, Poland, and other European countries, this time they were particularly eager to explore a neighboring country with which they share many traditions, a rich history, and a common cultural heritage.
As part of their visit, they will also bring sports gifts to schools in Gjirokastra for their new friends.
During our warm and engaging discussion, we talked about the many things that unite us, I introduced them to the Consulate’s activities, and we agreed to meet again after their trip to Albania.
