On 23rd of February 2014, the concert for singing Beethoven’s 9th symphony with 5000 people was organized for the 30th time, accompanied by the New philharmonic orchestra of Tokyo. This concert is organized by the Sumida Choral Society for Beethoven’s 9th symphony concert starting from 1985, and takes place at Ryogoku Sumo Hall. The choir was composed by people with different ages, where the highest age this year being 96 from all Japan and many representatives from the world. The choir also had participants from 12 countries around the world, including Albania and Kosovo, where this was the 5th time that Albania exposes it’s flag among the other participants.
