Bilateral agreements:

1. Agreement with the Exchange of Notes between the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Japan for funding a grant project to increase agricultural production, signed and initiated on 16 June, 1999.

2. Agreement between the Ministry of Foods and Agriculture of the Republic of Albania and Marubeni Corporation, for providing machinery and equipment in order to increase food production, signed and initiated on 11.02.1999.

3. The exchange of Notes between the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Japan concerning a grant from the Japanese government to support structural adjustments as budgetary support, signed on 03.09.2001.

4. The exchange of Notes between the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Japan concerning a grant from the Japanese Government for funding the project "To increase food production in Albania, 2KR”, signed on 03.09.2001.

5. Agreement for financing project “2KR”, between the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Japan, signed on 24.03.2004.

6. Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Japan with the Exchange of Notes for a project of equipment improvement in the southern districts of Albania, signed on 12.02.2004, entered into force on 09.12.2004.

7. Agreement signed with the Exchange of Notes between the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Japan for training personnel, dated 04.04.2004.

8. Agreement with the Exchange of Notes for the study of the sewer project in Tirana, signed on 02.02.2005, entered into force on the date of signature.

9. Technical Agreement with the Exchange of Notes with Japan for training Albanian groups in areas of mutual interest, signed on 04.04.2005, entered into force on the date of signature.

10. Technical Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Japan, signed on 15.12.2006, entered into force on 20 April 2007.

11. Agreement on visa abolition of diplomatic passports with Japan, the exchange of Notes occurred on 09.11.2007, entered into force on 10.12.2007.

12. Agreement with the Exchange of Notes for financing the project for improving the system of sewage disposal in greater Tirana area, between the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Japan, signed and initiated on 15.04. 2008.

13. Loan agreement for financing the project for improving the system of sewage disposal in the greater Tirana area, between the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Bank of Japan, signed on 30 June 2008.

 

14. Agreement with the Exchange of Notes between the Republic of Albania and the Government of Japan on the grant agreement to help promote stability and economic development in the Republic of Albania, signed and initiated on 15.04.2008.

15. Agreement with the Exchange of Notes between the Government of the Republic of Albania and the Government of Japan for funding the project for the improvement of medical facilities in regional emergency centers in the Republic of Albania, signed on 17.12.2009.
