To celebrate the 90th anniversary of diplomatic relationships between Albania and Japan, Tenor Oohashi Koji and Soprano Nakajima Ko together with the embassy organized a concert on the 15th of December 2012 at the Hibiya Kokaido. At this event, various songs from famous composers were sung along with famous Japanese and Albanian lyrics. Other than the famous songs from worldwide famous composers such as Mozart, Donizetti, Puccini, Rossini, Thomas, the Albanian anthem and two of the famous lyrics “The Blooming Rose” and “When the husband returns from the Pasture” were also included in the repertory of the songs. The anthem was sang along together with the Albanian guests together with the singers on the stage in order to create a good atmosphere which followed on the remainder of the other Albanian lyrics. It was also the first time that Japanese lyric singers sung Albanian lyrics using the Albanian language. Various Ambassadors and MOFA related people as well as Albanians and friends of Albania were invited at this event.
