On February 21, 2017, a conference on the humanitarian contribution of the State of Kuwait to Albania was organized in Tirana.

With the exclusive presence of the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs and the Minister of State for Local Government, representatives of the relevant charitable associations as well as well-known figures in Albania at the "25 Years of Humanitarian Contribution in Albania" conference.

Among the activities developed during this visit was the ceremony of decorating some leaders of Kuwaiti charitable associations by the President of the Republic of Albania for their outstanding contribution.
