November 29, 2016 – The Embassy of Albania in Kuwait organized a reception at the JW Marriott Hotel on the occasion of the National Day. This event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, the business world, supporters and well-wishers of Albania, members of the Albanian community living in Kuwait, etc. The guest of honour at this reception was the Minister of Social Affairs and Work, Mrs. Hind Al-Subaih. Ambassador Saimir Bala appreciated the very good relations between Albania and Kuwait, stressing that Albania remains open to Investments in different areas of business with the support of the Kuwait Development Fund and not only as well as cooperation in the fields of culture and media. He appreciated and welcomed the role of the head of state, the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as an International Humanitarian Leader and for the continuous support of Albania in the humanitarian fields, the construction of educational and health centres, etc. During casual conversations with the guests, it was emphasized that Kuwaiti citizens do not need a visa to enter Albania, while the climatic conditions of our country offer new views to be discovered in every season of the year. The Albanian community took the opportunity to mention the E-Consulate as an innovation in the field of services to the diaspora and all immigrants.
