Embassy of Albania in the State of Kuwait in cooperation with the Society for Social Solidarity Center hosted the “Albania, a Treasure to be Discovered” exposition.
There were showed images from “Colours of Albania” 2015 competition,
images from Albanian nature and culture,
images of traditional costumes,
banners with information about Albania, brochures, booklets, “Albania Calls…” translated into Arabic etc.,
a corner with handmade old carpets, clothes, embroidery pieces etc.,
gift bags filled with Albanian Mountain tea, “Gliko” Jar, leaflets with info from Albania,
and most appreciated Albanian traditional food especially prepared for the occasion.

It was a pre-summer season activity with the aim to invite all Kuwaiti citizens and of course everybody else to visit Albania. There is so much to be discovered in Albania that even tourists who have visited this country once are wishing to go again and again.

There were guests from the business world, specially invited dignitaries, media representatives and members of the Albanian community as well. H.E. Saimir Bala took this chance to introduce himself to all the invitees as the new Albanian ambassador and assured everybody of the prompt assistance the embassy will give to whom will be interested on having more info or special request regarding our country.

Quote from H.E. speach: – “I am happy to be ambassador to a country that knows, appreciates, loves and wants to visit Albania”. In such a special atmosphere the activity ended with the good will to keep on having further cooperations with the Society and with several people from the participants willing to visit Albania before Ramadan time.
