Nov 28, 2015/ATA/ – Albanian Embassy in Kuwait held a reception at Regency Hotel on the occasion of the National Day. This event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, the business community in Kuwait, other interlocutors, members of the Albanian community living in Kuwait, etc. The guest of honour at the reception was the Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, His Excellency, Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Homoud Al-Sabah. Ambassador Kujtim Morina lauded the very good relations between Albania and Kuwait and their continuous progress in fields of economic cooperation with the support of the Kuwait Fund for Development and Cooperation and in the other fields of culture and media. He praised the role of the Head of State, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as International Humanitarian Leader and for supporting Albania in several areas including construction of educational and healthcare centres. The attendance was satisfactory. The activity became more interesting with the Albanian traditional costumes worn by the Albanian nationals residing in Kuwait. During the conversation with the Minister of Information of Kuwait, Sheikh Salman, it was discussed the strengthening of the cooperation between the two countries, with regard to the visit exchanges of high authorities as well as the joint cultural activities.
