Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his official visit to the State of Kuwait, held a series of important meetings with the highest heads of institutions of the host country.
Prime Minister Rama was received in an official ceremony by the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. During the bilateral talks between the Albanian and Kuwaiti delegations, emphasis was placed on promoting economic cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of tourism and the water sector. Prime Minister Rama introduced his Kuwaiti counterpart to the reforms undertaken by the Albanian government and the potential that our country offers to foreign enterprises interested in investing in Albania.
At the end of the meeting, Foreign Minister Bushati and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Ahmetaj signed four agreements of understanding with their counterparts in the field of cooperation and development of industrial exports, environmental protection, conservation of natural resources and sustainable development, cooperation in health, as well as the agreement on the waiver of visas for holders of diplomatic and service passports.
Prime Minister Rama was then received by the Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as well as the Speaker of the Kuwaiti Parliament.
