Minister Bushati and Italian Foreign Minister Gentiloni open Conference of Ambassadors 2016 - Tirana Initiative launched

The Conference of Albanian Ambassadors kicked off today in the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a three-day event in Tirana which gathers heads of diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Albania abroad.
This Conference serves as a platform for exchange of information and ideas as well as raises awareness on some important issues related to the Albanian foreign policy, regional developments and international arena.

Embassy of Albania in the State of Kuwait in cooperation with the Society for Social Solidarity Center hosted the "Albania, a Treasure to be Discovered" exposition. 
There were showed images from "Colours of Albania" 2015 competition,
images from Albanian nature and culture,
images of traditional costumes,
banners with information about Albania, brochures, booklets, "Albania Calls..." translated into Arabic etc.,
a corner with handmade old carpets, clothes, embroidery pieces etc.,

Kuwait welcomes Albanian Ambassador H.E. Saimir Bala

H.E. Mr. Saimir Bala is welcomed as the new Albanian Ambassador to the State of Kuwait on May 1. Ambassador Bala is welcomed to the VIP Lounge of the Kuwait International Airport by the local MOFA authorities, according to the protocol procedures.
May 2, 2016, ambassador Bala is received by the Protocol Director of the Kuwaiti MOFA, Ambassador Dhari Ajran Al-Ajran. During the cordial meeting Ambassador Al-Ajran stressed out the excellent diplomatic relations that exist between our two countries and the good will to further develop them.

31 March 2016    -    On 30 March 2016, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Arben Ahmetaj and Deputy Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, Mr. Hamad Al Omar, signed a loan agreement on the project of “Rehabilitation of Vlora River Road”. Through this agreement, the Fund will provide a Loan of twelve million Kuwaiti dinars, (KD. 12,000,000/-) equivalent to about US$ 40,8 million to Albania.

24 March 2016     -      From 23 to 26 March 2016, Minister of Public Works and National Assembly Affairs of the State of Kuwait, dr. Ali Saleh Al Omair, held an official visit to Tirana, Albania, upon the invitation of the Albanian counterpart, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Waters Administration, Mr. Edmond Panariti. Sept 22, 2015 /ATA/- ​This publication was a project run by the Albanian Embassy in Kuwait, in cooperation with the Kuwaiti humanitarian organization “Al Najat Society” and “Albatross Media”, a ​company managed by a group of Albanian  citizens living in Kuwait. The media company has undertaken the translation into Arabic, while Al-Najat Society, a well known Kuwaiti organization for humanitarian assistance as well as for capacity building covered all the expenses for the publishing of 4000 copies of this manual.
