June 02, 2015 Albanian embassy in Kuwait in cooperation with the Social Sciences College of Kuwait University organized yesterday Albanian Cultural Day. The activity was attended by many students, professors of this Faculty and members of Albanian community living in Kuwait as well. The audience showed interest in a video presentation “Albania to be discovered and loved” as well as free discussions with the Albanian Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Kujtim Morina and the Dean of this Faculty, Dr. Abdul Redha Assiri. Then, there were addressed many questions related to the culture and traditions in Albania, the political system, travel routes, recent developments etc. Ambassador Morina said that recent years, there is increased interest by foreign tourists to visit Albania and we hope to have more visitors given the removal of visas for Kuwaiti citizens starting from February of this year. He underlined that the main priorities of Albanian government remain tourism and agriculture. The activity went on with the showcasing of Albanian traditional costumes and offered Albanian traditional cooking as well.
