“Parks in the Dinaric Arc” is an initiative of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) that aims to create a platform for protected areas in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Slovenia . The protected area managers of these eight countries of the Western Balkans will exchange experiences and work in a common network for nature conservation. They will meet to gain knowledge and discuss important issues of protected areas such as integration into the European Union. , sustainable tourism and climate change. In addition to all this, the project will develop for the first time the assessment of benefits from protected areas at the regional level. “Parks in the Dinaric Arc – Albania” aims to create a vibrant network of parks in Albania and promote them as wonderful tourist destinations. .
