The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Montenegro, Ms. Zhaklina Peto, held a meeting with the Minister of Interior of Montenegro, Mr. Danilo Šaranović, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of security and border management.

During the meeting, the importance of close cooperation between Albanian and Montenegrin institutions was emphasized, particularly on issues related to border security, the management of flows at border crossing points, and the exchange of information between the relevant authorities.

Cooperation in border management represents an important element of Albania–Montenegro relations, particularly in the context of increasing cross-border movement and the need for efficient and secure procedures for citizens of both countries.
