Podgorica, September 19, 2026 – The solo exhibition “My City” by Albanian painter Arben Golemi opened at the premises of the Association of Fine Artists of Montenegro in Podgorica. The cultural event was organized as part of efforts to promote Albanian art and culture in Montenegro.

Through the “My City” series, Arben Golemi draws attention to the city, architecture, and atmosphere of Berat, interpreting them through a distinctive artistic language. The exhibited works convey elements of urban identity and Albanian heritage, creating a dialogue between memory, space, and contemporary art.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of institutions and the diplomatic corps, artists, cultural figures, and friends of the Embassy, turning the event into another important moment of cultural exchange between Albania and Montenegro.

The “My City” exhibition offers the Montenegrin public and the diplomatic community in Podgorica an opportunity to discover the artistic work of Albanian painter Arben Golemi and, through it, to experience a part of Albania’s cultural and artistic identity.

Events such as this demonstrate the important role that art and culture play in bringing the two countries closer together, strengthening dialogue, and creating new bridges of cooperation between Albania and Montenegro.

The “My City” exhibition will be open from September 19 to 26, 2026, at the premises of the Association of Fine Artists of Montenegro, 2 Marka Miljanova Street, Podgorica.
