On the occasion of the visit to The Hague, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Igli Hasani held a meeting with the High Commissioner for National Minorities, Ambassador Kairat Abdrakhmanov.

During the meeting, Albania’s essential progress in improving the legal framework for the protection of minority rights was discussed, as evidence of our commitment to promoting inclusiveness and equality. Minister Hasani also raised the issue of the passivation of addresses of Albanians in Southern Serbia, which deprives them of basic rights, including the right to
vote.
