Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania Ditmir Bushati attended the NATO meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs held on April 27 in Brussels.
This meeting addressed important issues of transatlantic security, including the complex topic of relations with Russia, the strategic importance of the Middle East and North Africa, the current situation in Afghanistan within the Kabul Process, as well as the open door policy.
NATO foreign ministers encouraged aspirant countries to continue their engagement on the Euro-Atlantic path and to implement the necessary reforms.
Minister Bushati, in his remarks, reaffirmed Albania's position in support of the open door policy and the integration perspectives of the aspirant countries.
