Ambassador Mimoza Halimi was received in a meeting at the Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej by the Chairman of the National Defense Committee of Poland, Mr. Andrzej Grzyb.

During the meeting, the very good relations between Albania and Poland and the willingness to further strengthen interparliamentary cooperation in the field of defense were appreciated. The interlocutors exchanged views on current security challenges and their impact on the enlargement process. Ambassador Halimi expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support of Poland, the country currently holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU, in Albania’s journey towards the European Union and her interest in benefiting from Poland’s parliamentary experience in this process.
