From March 1-6, 2025, the First International Piano Competition for Young People “J’adore Chopin” was held in Tirana. This competition not only honored the work of one of the greatest composers of all time but also provided a unique opportunity to encourage and promote the development of young talents, opening doors for a successful future in music and art.

The young pianists were judged by an international jury of music professionals from Poland, Italy, Germany, and France. The 17-year-old Polish pianist Maciej Domagała won the Grand Prize of the “J’adore Chopin” International Competition. The second and third prizes were awarded to young pianists from Italy: Ilaria Picci and Giulia Loperfido, respectively.
