As part of the official visit to Poland, the President of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Bajram Begaj and the First Lady, Mrs. Armanda Begaj, accompanied by Ambassador Mimoza Halimi, visited the Honorary Consulate of Albania in Łódź, headed by Dr. Paweł Michalak.
The President was received with honors by the local authorities and met with representatives of the Albanian community. They discussed deepening economic, cultural, educational and tourist cooperation with this important region of Poland.
As a sign of friendship, “Trees of Friendship” were symbolically planted with the names of Jan Sobieski III and Jerzy Kastriota Skanderbeg.
A special atmosphere was created by the performance of the young pianist Maciej Domagała, winner of the international competition “J’adore Chopin” (Tirana, March 2025) and the Łódź Children’s Choir.
Thank you all! Albanian-Polish friendship and cooperation grows stronger every day.
