On February 5, 2025, H.E. Ms. Mimoza Halimi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Poland, was received by Ms. Agnieszka Pomaska, Chair of the Committee for European Union Affairs in the Sejm of the Republic of Poland.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the importance of parliamentary cooperation between Albania and Poland, the EU enlargement process, and Albania’s progress in its accession negotiations with the European Union.

Ms. Pomaska reaffirmed Poland’s strong support — particularly significant as Poland currently holds the Presidency of the Council of the EU — as well as the continued support of the Sejm’s EU Affairs Committee for Albania’s advancement in the EU accession process.
