On April 8, 2025, Ambassador Mimoza Halimi welcomed the new Ambassador of Portugal to Poland, H.E. Mr. Mario Miranda Duarte, at the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Warsaw.
During the meeting, the two ambassadors exchanged views on bilateral relations between Albania and Portugal, within the context of their diplomatic presence in Poland. They explored potential areas of cooperation, particularly in the fields of economy, tourism, and culture.
The conversation also touched upon the European Union enlargement process, Albania’s progress on its integration path, and expectations for the upcoming Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
