Very pleased to meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Oana-Silvia Țoiu
We reaffirmed the excellent and longstanding ties between Albania and Romania, underlining our shared determination to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across areas of common interest and for the benefit of our citizens.
I conveyed our deep appreciation for Romania’s continued and valuable support for Albania’s EU accession process and reiterated our commitment to intensifying cooperation in support of regional stability, stronger connectivity and the European future of the Western Balkans.
Our discussion also highlighted the importance of enhancing collaboration in education, people-to-people exchanges, including economic and commercial cooperation in order to fully unlock the strong potential of our bilateral partnership.
In this respect, we agreed to further strengthen our cultural cooperation as a meaningful way to deepen the longstanding friendship and partnership between our countries, as an important investment in our shared European future and the ties between our peoples.
