Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, is paying a two-day visit in Sweden. During his stay in Sweden, Minister Bushati will meet with Swedish counterpart, Margot Wallström.
Another meeting scheduled on Minister Bushati’s agenda is with the Secretary of State at the Ministry of European Union and Trade, Oscar Stenstrom. He will also meet with Secretary of State in the Ministry of International Cooperation and Development, Ulrika Modeer and with the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Migration and Justice, Lars Westbratt.
The visit to Sweden started with the meeting of Minister Bushati with the Business Council to discuss the potentials offered by Albania for investment development and the encouragement of Swedish companies to consider the Albanian market.
He also met with the executives of one of the largest Swedish and Nordic companies, Apollo, which also operates in our tourist market. This company has started tourism activity in Albania in 2014, in about 5,000 tourist nights and closed last season with over 40,000 nights. Next season, they will also launch direct flights from the Nordic countries.
