Strengthening Albania’s presence in Swiss media and expanding partnerships with the travel sector were the focus of meetings held in Zurich and Bern by Ambassador Ermal Dredha and Jola Hysaj, Director General of Albania’s National Tourism Agency.

Discussions with representatives of PrimCom Switzerland, the Swiss Travel Association (SRV) and Vögele Reisen explored three concrete opportunities: a familiarisation trip to Albania for Swiss journalists in 2027, the possibility of holding SRV’s General Assembly in Tirana, and broader cooperation with Vögele Reisen, which has been bringing tourists to Albania for several years.

The meetings, held with the support of Mr Saimir Shala of Albanien Reisen, helped establish and strengthen direct contacts with Swiss partners.

The Embassy and the National Tourism Agency will follow up on these opportunities to raise Albania’s profile and expand the range of travel options to the country available in the Swiss market.
