The Ambassador of Albania to Bulgaria, H.E Inid Milo held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, Rector of the 
University of National and World Economy (UNWE), and Prof. Dr. Svetoslav Spasov, Director of the Nuclear Security Support Centre at the university.

During the meeting, special attention was given to the importance of education as a bridge between societies and people’s.
The parties exchanged views on expanding partnerships under the Erasmus+ Programme, strengthening direct contacts between academic departments and research teams, and developing joint initiatives in areas such as economy, innovation, tourism and culture.
Prof. Dr. Svetoslav Spasov also presented the activities of the Nuclear Security Support Centre and the Master’s Programme in Nuclear Security, implemented in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Opportunities for Albanian students and institutions to participate in the programme through international scholarship schemes were also discussed.
The meeting concluded with a shared readiness to further strengthen academic exchanges and develop sustainable educational and research partnerships between Albanian and Bulgarian institutions.
