On June 25, 2025, Ambassador Sami Shiba, hosted the representatives of LUCKY TOURS GROUP Egypt, Ms. Hanan Farag, Ms. Samar Matta and Mr. Ayman Namek, in the framework of promoting Albania as one of the main tourism destinations for the year 2025, to prestigious international media outlets, with the aim of increasing the number of tourists from Egypt to Albania and vice versa. According to them, LUCKY TOURS Group is one of the oldest and most well-known travel agencies in Egypt. Founded in 1974, with branches in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, Alexandria and Sharm El Sheikh, Lucky Tours offers all travel requirements for group and individual travelers. During the meeting discussed the interest of Egyptian citizens to travel and spend their holidays in Albania, due to the fact that, as the representatives of the Group expressed, Albania is an important and top touristic destination, and offers affordable prices. The representatives of LUCKY TOURS GROUP, Egypt, after expressing their commitment to organizing tourist groups and sending them by Charter to Albania, as well as representatives of other agencies, were interested in visa procedures for tourist groups, and request the Embassy’s commitment to facilitate and shorten visa procedures for tourist groups.
