As Ambassador, Mrs. Hajdaraga is responsible for representing Albania’s interests in Greece, Cyprus, Armenia, and Tunisia. Her duties include facilitating political, economic, and cultural cooperation between Albania and these nations. She regularly engages with senior officials, government representatives, and business leaders to advance key diplomatic initiatives, including trade agreements, security cooperation, and investment opportunities.
In addition to her diplomatic responsibilities, Ambassador Hajdaraga plays an integral role in promoting Albania’s economic diplomacy by advocating for increased bilateral trade, foreign direct investment, and joint ventures in sectors such as energy, tourism, technology, and infrastructure development. Through strategic partnerships and active engagement with the private sector, she has successfully positioned Albania as a key player in the region’s economic landscape, while also strengthening its global network of alliances.She is also committed to supporting the Albanian diaspora, ensuring their voices are heard in national discussions, and building programs that encourage their contribution to Albania’s development.
Prior to her current appointment, Mrs. Hajdaraga held several high-level positions within the Albanian government. Her role as a senior coordinator in the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the State Minister for Diaspora, provided her with invaluable experience in policy coordination, governmental operations, and international outreach. She was responsible for overseeing the execution of key governmental initiatives related to Albania’s foreign policy and diaspora relations, working directly with the Prime Minister’s Office to ensure effective communication and alignment of strategies across various ministries.
Earlier in her career, Mrs. Hajdaraga demonstrated strong leadership in both the public and private sectors. Her roles in telecommunication sector spanned managerial positions in human resources and international relations, where she led negotiations, managed customer relations, and oversaw international partnerships.
In addition to her corporate experience, Mrs. Hajdaraga has demonstrated a strong commitment to human rights and social development, having worked with the Albanian Center for Human Rights (ACHR) early in her career
She holds an MBA in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Business and International Studies in Geneva, where she gained in-depth knowledge of international law, global political dynamics, and diplomatic practices. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from the State University of New York.
Fluent in Albanian, English, and Italian, she brings a global perspective to her work, underpinned by a deep understanding of international relations and political strategy.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Hajdaraga has been recognized for her leadership, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to representing Albania with integrity and excellence. As Ambassador, she continues to play a key role in Albania’s diplomatic efforts, working tirelessly to enhance Albania’s relationships with Greece, Cyprus, Armenia, and Tunisia.
