Project “Islands 2026” – Consular Services in the Greek Islands
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, in cooperation with IdentiTek SHA and the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece, continues this year the “Islands 2026” Project, in order to bring consular services directly closer to you.
Within this framework, a delegated consular team will provide services for applications for biometric documents, as well as other consular services, on the following dates and at the following locations:
4–5 May 2026 – Rhodes, Rhodes

6–8 May 2026 – Chania, Crete

Application procedure:
- Complete the application for a passport and/or ID card on the e-Albania platform.
- Send an email to consulate.athens@mfa.gov.al with the subject “Islands 2026”, including:
- Full name
- Personal Number (NID)
- Application code (03AT…)
- Address of residence on the island
Cost of documents:
Biometric passport – 130 €
ID card – 12 €
Payment is made by bank card via POS at the premises where the service is provided.
