As part of the ongoing cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece and the Delphi Economic Forum (DEF), the President of DEF, Mr. Symeon Tsomokos, paid a working visit to Tirana, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Greece, H.E. Mrs. Luela Hajdaraga.
The visit took place in the context of preparations for the Tirana Economic Forum, a satellite event of the Delphi Economic Forum, aimed at promoting strategic dialogue and economic cooperation in Albania and across Southeast Europe.

During his visit, Mr. Tsomokos held meetings with representatives of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, as well as members of the Albanian and Greek business communities.
Discussions focused on opportunities to expand institutional and economic cooperation, strengthen public-private dialogue and identify initiatives supporting sustainable development and Albania’s European integration process.

The Tirana Economic Forum will address a broad range of strategic priorities for Albania and Southeast Europe, including regional and energy security, European integration, foreign investment, economic development, urban transformation, innovation and artificial intelligence, sustainable tourism and migration policies.
The Forum will provide an important platform for strengthening economic dialogue between Albania and Greece, advancing regional cooperation, facilitating the exchange of expertise and fostering new partnerships, while highlighting concrete investment opportunities in Albania and the wider region.

The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece remains committed to supporting this initiative as part of its efforts to strengthen bilateral economic and institutional ties and deepen cooperation across Southeast Europe.
The Embassy invites Albanian and Greek entrepreneurs, representatives of public institutions and private-sector stakeholders to participate in the Tirana Economic Forum, offering an opportunity to exchange ideas, establish partnerships and explore new avenues for cooperation and investment.
